Squad Number for Gnahore

Squad Number for Gnahore
17th Jan 2012

Teenage midfielder Eddy Gnahore has today been given a first team squad number by boss Chris Hughton.

The 18-year-old, who was born in Paris, joined Blues' Academy set-up in 2010 after being spotted by the club's scouts playing in a tournament for French side Châteauroux.

At the time, Blues fought off interest from a number of other English sides to secure his services.

The six-foot-plus all-action midfielder has been a regular for the club's U18s and has also featured for the reserve team.

In November 2011, he put pen-to-paper on a contract that runs until 2014.

He has been allocated number 34.
